Last Saturday was annual Record Store Day and we would have loved to be part of it……but we couldn’t because to get stock in to record stores you need to have a deal with a record distributor and none of the UK’s distributors wanted to take us on as they couldn’t see the audience potential.
So we DIY it our way and thanks to your incredible support we have two Top -10 UK Chart albums and two Bandcamp bestsellers where we collect 100% of sales money instead of the 40% that distributors pay to artists.
And we can have our own UK Record Store Day anytime or indeed all the time so today we’re doing that with 15 copies of our album Glamour In The Grey on special limited edition sea-foam coloured vinyl with lyric insert and band photo.
