THE number one site for independent music artists bar none is Bandcamp and now it has just got even better as unlike Spotify and other streaming sites it has now actively banned AI music.
They have told anyone creating and uploading AI generated music to clear off the site, are systematically deleting any AI music they find and have put in place a whistleblowing system for users to alert them to AI musical slop so that they can bin it.
If you use Bandcamp already then fantastic, you’re in with the in crowd. If you don’t then please do check it out, there’s a lifetimes worth of great music on there and very probably a huge chunk of the artists you already listen to as more and more are joining.
