Any UK CD and vinyl buyers of our new album Gil Brenton who would also like a download copy of the album as well can you please email us at info@themagpiearc.com when you’ve completed your purchase and you shall be furnished with a lovely Bandcamp download code on the albums release which will enable you to access the digital copy for free?
If you’ve already ordered and would like the album on download then please email and you’ll be added to the list and will receive the code too.
Due to UK Chart rules CD and vinyl sales on Bandcamp don’t count towards a placing unless the buyer utilises the additional download option, so in theory we could sell 10,000 copies of an album on CD/vinyl on Bandcamp but if only one buyer actually downloads it then it only counts as one sale.
That is why we have a separate sales shop for UK CD’s and vinyl but we appreciate that puts UK buyers who want a physical copy AND a download copy at a disadvantage if they want to listen on the move.
