Our Own London Festival Update!

We are absolutely delighted to announce the final addition to the line-up for our 2nd Indoor Festival of Folk which will take place at Cecil Sharp House in London on Saturday the 3rd of February.

Joining the acts already confirmed for top class folk music, food, drink, fun, facilities and a very nice, warm sit down are the fantastic BBC Radio 2 Folk Award winning band The Trials of Cato!

They will appear along with us, Tom Robinson, The Rosie Hood Band, Janice Burns and Jon Doran and a very special interview session hosted by BBC and Folk On Foot broadcaster Matthew Bannister where he will be talking to, taking questions for and extracting stories from the co-creators of the UK Folk/Rock genre the legendary producer/manager Joe Boyd and producer/engineer John Wood (Fairport Convention, Sandy Denny, John Martyn, Nick Drake, Richard and Linda Thompson, Fotheringay, the Incredible String Band and loads more).

For many of us Joe and John are the men behind the bands and solo artists whose music has accompanied us throughout our lives and this will be a very rare opportunity to hear them talk about the who, what, why and where of 60’s/70’s British Folk/Rock.

Day tickets are available to buy right now at themagpiearc.com/live/

These will be limited in number so be very quick to get yours and ensure that you don’t miss out!

We have more gigs added to our February tour as well, including a Friday headline slot at the Love Folk Festival at The Atkinson in Southport on the 9th and all information/tickets are at the same link above.

And thank you to everyone who bought our special 22 songs for Ā£10, everything we’ve recorded Anthology download album, it’s still riding high in the Bandcamp bestseller list and is available to buy or gift to someone that you love music with here at themagpiearc.bandcamp.com/album/the-magpie-arc-anthology

Thank you for all the continued support everyone and have a lovely weekend!
